Ukraine has imposed sanctions against 293 individuals and companies: details of the decisions
According to hvylya.net: According to the results of the meeting, it became known that Ukraine adopted five sanction packages during September. The total number of individuals and organizations against which restrictions have been imposed is 293 positions - 166 physical persons and 127 legal entities. The sanctions affected individuals and companies that support the Russian military-industrial complex, the so-called shadow fleet of Russia, and the aggressor's energy sector. The restrictions also target propagandists, pro-Russian actors from Moldova, and individuals cooperating with the occupying authorities in temporarily occupied Crimea.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on September 30 dedicated to strengthening the country’s sanctions policy and coordinating restrictive measures with international partners. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and the president's advisor on sanctions policy Vladyslav Vlasuk presented a report on the achieved results and new sanctions decisions.
International Restrictions
In addition to its own sanctions decisions, Ukraine synchronized with British restrictive measures, implementing them within its national jurisdiction. On September 15, the International Working Group on Sanctions Against Russia published a working document titled 'New Sanctions to Force the Russian Federation to Agree to a Ceasefire in Ukraine'. The document contains recommendations on increasing pressure on the energy and financial sectors of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the President of Ukraine and representatives of the National Security and Defense Council discussed strengthening sanctions against individuals and organizations that violate Ukraine's sovereignty and support hostile aggressive influence. Measures to hinder the activities of Russian military structures and their support in neighboring countries are becoming increasingly active on the part of Ukraine and its partners around the world.
