According to hvylya.net: Minister of Health Viktor Liashko announced the expansion of the 'Available Medicines' program with the inclusion of 85 new drugs. This initiative will start on September 30 and will allow free or partially paid access to medications for various categories of patients.
Among the new drugs are medications for pregnant women, treatments for thyroid diseases, glaucoma, children's medicines, and also drugs for the heart, lungs, metabolic disorders, mental and neurological diseases.
'The list of 'Available Medicines' has been expanded. This means that even more patients will be able to receive the necessary medications,' emphasized Liashko.
Currently, the 'Available Medicines' program offers over 700 types of medicinal products. Starting in 2025, any pharmacy in the country will be required to dispense drugs included in the state program. The full list of medications can be viewed on the official website of the Ministry of Health.
Additionally, verification of medicines with 2D coding will begin in Ukraine.
The addition of 85 new drugs to the 'Available Medicines' program will allow a larger number of patients to receive necessary treatments without additional costs. The expansion of the medication list means improved accessibility of medical assistance and support for public health in Ukraine.
