According to hvylya.net: According to the Deputy Minister of Interior and Administration of Poland, Maciej Duszczyk, Ukrainians receiving child benefits under the '800+' program should now expect monthly checks regarding their employment status.

Ukrainians in Poland will be checked every month to ensure that those receiving social assistance are doing so justly.

The Polish authorities have decided to tighten control over the distribution of social funds. In case of non-compliance with employment conditions, Ukrainians may lose their assistance or even face a ban on entry into the country.

New conditions for Ukrainian refugees

According to the new law, Ukrainian refugees will be allowed to stay legally in Poland until March 4, 2026, and work there. However, the rules for obtaining assistance are becoming stricter, requiring official employment of parents and schooling of children in Polish schools to receive child support.

The Polish Social Insurance Fund will automatically check the employment status of recipients of aid, ceasing payments in case of unemployment. However, some categories of people, such as parents of children with disabilities, may be exempt from this rule.

Modernization of social programs is part of the strategy of the Polish government aimed at controlling the distribution of funds and ensuring that assistance goes only to those in need, adhering to established conditions.

In Poland, checks on Ukrainians receiving social assistance, including child benefits under the '800+' program, are being intensified. The new conditions also apply to Ukrainian refugees who have the opportunity to stay and work in Poland, but under strict control by the authorities. The authorities are taking measures for effective distribution of social funds and ensuring that assistance is given only to those who truly need it.
