В Україні запроваджено аварійні відключення електроенергії: деталі та графік відключень.

The Ukrainian company 'Ukrenergo' announced the introduction of schedules for emergency electricity outages due to increased electricity consumption associated with overcast weather. This information was shared by the head of the company, Vitaliy Zaichenko, during a telethon, as reported by 'Glavcom'.

According to Zaichenko, initially, restrictions were planned for industry, but due to the unexpected increase in electricity consumption, they turned out to be ineffective due to bad weather.

“Therefore, we were forced to introduce schedules for emergency outages, which will eventually transition to hourly, so consumers know when they will have light”

Zaichenko emphasized that the restrictions will only apply during peak system load hours: morning period from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and evening from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. At other times, consumers will have the opportunity to receive electricity without restrictions.

It was also noted that due to Russian attacks on energy facilities, some regions of Ukraine were left without electricity, including Sumy, Zaporizhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The Economist noted that Russia is trying to damage Ukraine's energy system using drones and missiles. The Kremlin hopes this will lead to serious problems for the country during the winter period.

Ukrenergo introduced schedules for emergency electricity outages due to high electricity consumption. This became necessary due to adverse weather conditions and deficiencies in the energy system. Additionally, Russian attacks on energy facilities led to power outages in certain regions of the country.
