Ukrzaliznytsia Distributed 40 Thousand Free Tickets: How to Get a Journey Covering 3000 km
The '3000 km Around Ukraine' Program
According to Главком: Ukrzaliznytsia has launched the '3000 km Around Ukraine' program, within which Ukrainians can receive free tickets for railway travels. A total of 40 thousand tickets have been issued, allowing travel to frontline communities. Ticket booking is available through the Ukrzaliznytsia app, enabling each user to reserve up to 4 trips covering 3000 km.
The program has sparked great interest among citizens: in the first few hours, over 30 thousand Ukrainians activated the opportunity to receive free tickets. Ukrzaliznytsia also plans to expand this initiative in the future, as the 'UZ-3000' program anticipates around one million free railway tickets. Ukrzaliznytsia will be able to offer about 250 thousand seats per month.
Main Routes of the Program
Among the main routes available within the program, the following directions can be highlighted:
- Fastiv – Konotop
- Odesa – Zaporizhzhia
- Kyiv/Zhmerynka – Shostka
- Zaporizhzhia – Lviv
- Sumy – Rakhiv
The implementation of the program, according to experts, will also contribute to stimulating the national economy.
