Russia once again attacked gas infrastructure: which facilities are under fire
Attack on Naftogaz CHP
On the night of October 15, the Naftogaz CHP was attacked by the Russian terrorist army. This was reported by the head of the Naftogaz board, Serhiy Koretsky, as reported by 'Glavkom'.
According to the company leader, over the past week, the Russian Federation has massively attacked gas infrastructure three times.
«Last night, one of the CHP plants of the Naftogaz group was damaged. The enemy shelled gas extraction facilities in Kharkiv region. Previously, the enemy attacked gas infrastructure in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. These facilities have no military purpose. Russian terrorists are carrying out acts of terrorism aimed at depriving Ukraine of gas, heat, and light in winter», - the statement reads.
Massive attacks on energy infrastructure
As reported, on the night of October 10, the Russian Federation again carried out a massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure facilities. The strike coincided with the anniversary of the beginning of the bombings of the energy system that the occupiers started in 2022. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia attacked the Ukrainian energy system with over 450 drones and more than 30 missiles.
On the night of October 14, Russia also attacked Ukraine, specifically targeting energy facilities.
On the night of October 15, Russian forces again carried out drone attacks on energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine. This caused power outages in some areas, including - Dnipropetrovsk region.
The successive attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure by Russia endanger the lives and comfort of citizens and also emphasize the continuity of aggression and Russia's unwillingness to adhere to international law.
