Ukrainian Government Delegation in the USA: What New Cooperation Tracks Are Being Discussed

On October 14, 2025, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, reported on social media about the meetings with the IMF, the World Bank, and other financial institutions. The delegation also plans negotiations with the finance ministers of the USA and other countries.

The Ukrainian government delegation is on a working visit to the USA, where it is participating in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. The delegation includes representatives of the government, the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, and the leadership of Naftogaz.

Enhancing the Effectiveness of Cooperation and Responding to Sanctions

By order of the President of Ukraine, the priority of the delegation's work is issues related to energy, sanctions, and the development of cooperation with the USA on new tracks. The Ukrainian side explains to its partners the consequences of recent attacks by the Russians on energy facilities and seeks support and new resources for development.

Members of the Ukrainian delegation in the USA are actively communicating with international financial organizations and seeking opportunities to deepen cooperation with partner states. The working visit is aimed at strengthening economic ties and support amid sanctions and attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
