У Криму, що під окупацією, адміністратора нічного клубу оштрафували через виконання популярної пісні Верки Сердючки.

The director of the nightclub 'Atmosphere' in occupied Crimea was fined 300,000 rubles for performing the song by Verka Serdyuchka 'Hulianochka', which contains the line 'Ukraine has not yet died'. The incident occurred on July 26 during a party at the club in the village of Peschanoe, Bakhchisaray district.

After the reaction from Russian security forces, who persecute pro-Ukrainian activists, the Telegram channel 'Crimean SMERSH' denied the version that the song was ordered by an unknown girl. It turned out that the DJ simply included this song in the club's playlist.

According to the court, the statement 'Ukraine has not yet died' is aimed at discrediting the armed forces of Russia. Therefore, the club director and the DJ are guilty of provocation.

After Verka Serdyuchka performed in Russian at a concert in Kyiv, Ukrainians expressed outrage. Several prominent figures and internet users condemned the possibility of performing Russian songs on Ukrainian stages.

Not all artists consider it necessary to refuse the language of the aggressor. Showman Andriy Danilko explained that he speaks Russian to communicate with other stars who do not know the Ukrainian language.

The fine in Crimea for performing a song with the line 'Ukraine has not yet died' has caused great outrage among the Ukrainian public and raised the question of freedom of expression and cultural freedom in the occupied territories. The passionate reactions to Verka Serdyuchka's performance in Kyiv indicate the great significance of language and cultural context in modern Ukrainian society.
