Explosion of a chargers in Kyiv region: family with children injured
According to ДСНС: A true tragedy occurred in the village of Novosilky in the Kyiv region: a family with two children suffered serious injuries due to an explosion of a charger in one of the apartments. This unfortunate incident led to a fire that heavily smoked the entrance, complicating the evacuation of residents from the high-rise building.
Rescuers quickly assessed the situation: they opened the doors, brought 62 people to safety, and rescued the affected family, bringing them to fresh air and handing them over to medics. Two children and their father were hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of 'carbon monoxide poisoning'.
The State Emergency Service urges citizens to use alternative sources of electricity cautiously. It emphasizes the importance of using only licensed chargers and batteries, as well as not leaving devices unattended while charging, and the need to constantly check their condition and only operate generators outdoors.
As a result of the explosion in Novosilky, 62 residents of the entrance were evacuated, and the affected family with two children was hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of 'carbon monoxide poisoning'. The State Emergency Service urges to be very careful when using alternative sources of electricity and to follow all necessary safety rules.
