Reconstruction of the Odesa-Reni Route: How the Key Road to the Border with Romania Will Change
The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine (Restoration Agency), the Agency for Public-Private Partnership (PPP Agency) and the Recovery Service in Odesa region have joined forces to prepare a strategic investment project 'Reconstruction of the M-15 Odesa – Reni (to Bucharest) road'.
This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
The 'M-15 Odesa – Reni' Project in Focus
The 'M-15 Odesa – Reni' project is a priority for implementation and is included in the Unified Project Portfolio of the state for 2025. It involves the complete reconstruction and new construction of over 300 kilometers of the highway, which is part of the European route E87. It is important to emphasize that although preparations for the project are currently underway, its implementation can only take place after the war is over.
'The scope of work includes updating critical elements such as the bridge over the Dniester in the village of Mayaki, interchanges on the M-28 / M-14 and dozens of other structures. The successful implementation of the project is critically necessary to strengthen the economic potential, increase safety, and improve the capacity of the main logistics artery of southern Ukraine leading to the border with Romania.'

The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, together with other agencies, has prepared an investment project for the reconstruction of the M-15 Odesa – Reni road. This project is a priority and has strategic importance for improving the transport infrastructure of Ukraine. The reconstruction and new construction of the road will exceed 300 km, which is a key part of the international route. The realization of the project will be important after the conflict in the east of the country is resolved, as it will contribute to economic development and enhance security in this direction.
