The government has simplified compensation for destroyed housing: what has changed
According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian government is improving the mechanism for conducting remote assessments of destroyed housing in areas of active and potential combat. This involves the use of satellite images from the State Space Agency and the involvement of the Armed Forces to gather necessary data.
It has also been decided to simplify the technical requirements for photos and videos that confirm the destruction of housing, which will facilitate more accurate evidence gathering within the eRecovery program. This decision will allow for the possibility of compensation for all those affected by the war.
'We are expanding the possibilities for remote assessments within the eRecovery program. We must ensure that everyone whose homes have been destroyed by Russian shelling can receive compensation. Commissions conducting such assessments will have more tools for evaluation, even in the most difficult conditions when access to ruined homes is physically impossible,' said Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
Considering the improvements in the technical aspect of conducting remote assessments, one can expect more accurate and faster collection of necessary data for compensating residents of the affected areas.
