Potato prices have dropped by 58%: what is happening in the market

According to hvylya.net: Ukraine is lowering potato prices. According to data from the analytical platform EastFruit, this news became known through the publication 'Hvylya'. Experts point out that producers began to lower prices at the beginning of this week due to difficulties in selling perishable products.

According to experts' forecasts, farmers in the main regions are ready to sell quality potatoes for 7 to 13 UAH per kilogram, which is 14% cheaper than last week. Potato prices are, on average, 58% lower than during the same period last year. Owners of quality products have decided to wait for an improvement in the market situation in order to obtain more profitable deals.

Ukrainian farmers have started lowering potato prices in hopes of attracting buyers and easing the sale of products before the onset of cold weather. Experts predict further price drops, which may affect the market situation in the country.
