Ukrainians have been presented with information about the cost of renting apartments in various cities of the country. According to data from the LUN portal, the rental real estate market in Ukraine has significant regional differences.

The capital continues to lead with the highest rental prices. In Kyiv, a one-room apartment costs an average of 18,300 hryvnias per month, while in Kharkiv the price is five times lower - about 4,000 hryvnias.

Two-room apartments in Kyiv are rented for 28,000 hryvnias per month, while three-room apartments cost 47,500 hryvnias. In Kharkiv, a three-room apartment costs only 8,000 hryvnias.

Odesa shows a rapid increase in rental prices, especially for two-room and three-room apartments. The growth rates in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Lviv are also significant.

Market Analysis

  • Odesa: +38% (1-room), +58% (2-room), +109% (3-room);
  • Kyiv: +14%, +22%, +20%;
  • Dnipro: +10% (1-room), +10% (3-room);
  • Zaporizhzhia: +17% (2-room);
  • Lviv: +11% (2-room), +12% (3-room).

As the analysis shows, some cities demonstrate moderate price growth, while others experience a rapid increase in rental costs. An important factor is the percentage of the average salary that goes to housing payments, which affects rental affordability for residents.

  • Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia - the lowest rental costs, but there are serious safety risks.
  • Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Cherkasy - moderate prices and greater availability of apartments.
  • Dnipro - despite rising prices, rental remains affordable for most residents.
  • Odesa - despite high prices, housing remains accessible for rent.

Renting housing in Ukraine this year has become a financial challenge for many families, especially in large cities. The trend of rising prices remains relevant, especially under the increased demand for housing.

The information presented about housing rentals in various cities of Ukraine confirms significant regional price differences. The capital leads in rental costs, but some cities, although demonstrating rapid price increases, still show greater housing accessibility for residents. This poses financial challenges for many families, especially in times of economic hardship.
