Boeing 747 crash in Hong Kong: two dead after plane fell into the water
At Hong Kong International Airport, a cargo Boeing 747 of Emirates airline, arriving from Dubai, skidded off the runway and fell into the sea. There are reports of two fatalities.
The aircraft failed to stop in time during landing on the northern runway and, colliding with a ground vehicle, fell into the water. There were four crew members on board who were unharmed, but two people in the ground vehicle lost their lives.
One of them was pulled from the water but died on the spot, the other was taken to the hospital where he also died. After the accident, the northern runway was closed, but other runways at the airport continued to operate. Emirates airline has yet to comment on the incident.

According to media reports, the plane was a cargo Boeing 747 belonging to the Turkish airline AirACT, which provides additional cargo transportation for major carriers.
It is worth noting that a Bell 220SP helicopter crashed on Huntington Beach, California, during the 'Cars and Helicopters' festival. The helicopter fell directly onto a palm tree in one of the busiest parts of the city, injuring five people.
