State Budget-2026: where billions are allocated for housing and infrastructure recovery

In the second reading, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026. The security and defense of the country remain the main priorities of expenditures.

The Ministry of Development's program provides housing support for those affected by the war, recovery and development of infrastructure, and investment projects.

Thank you to the people's deputies for their constructive work and support of decisions that directly affect the quality of life of people and the sustainability of communities. The priority remains unchanged – security and defense. At the same time, the budget includes resources to support residents of frontline areas, internally displaced persons, compensation for destroyed housing, the recovery of important social infrastructure, and the modernization of services that must be accessible to every community.

Funding directions in the budget for 2026

The budget for 2026 allocates funding for housing assistance, the recovery and modernization of municipal infrastructure, continuous logistics, energy efficiency, and other directions.

Significant expenditures are planned in the area of recovery and modernization of municipal infrastructure, and the budget also allocates funding for energy efficiency programs and support for military personnel.

The approved budget of Ukraine for 2026 maintains the priority of expenditures on the security and defense of the country, as well as includes programs to support those affected by the war, the development of infrastructure, and investment. Additionally, funds are allocated for housing assistance, energy efficiency, and support for military personnel.
