Video recording at TCC from September 1: what will change for employees and citizens
According to the new requirements, starting from September 1, employees of the territorial centers for recruitment and social support (TCC and SP) must conduct video recording during document checks or delivery of summons. This decision was made by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, as reported by 'Khvylia'.
All TCC employees are now required to wear body cameras and register their actions during communication with citizens. In addition, in case of the absence of recording or violation of recording rules, disciplinary responsibility is foreseen.
According to Shmyhal, this step will help ensure transparency and legality of TCC and SP activities and protect the rights of citizens. During the mobilization, approximately 85% of employees are equipped with body cameras, and the procurement of equipment is ongoing to cover all units, as noted in an official statement.
Operation of territorial centers within the law
Territorial recruitment centers in Ukraine operate within the framework of legislation and are already functioning successfully in several regions. These centers are mobile and can quickly change their location, ensuring safety during potential attacks.
Legislation does not prohibit this format of work, so the question of the functioning of these centers falls under the competence of the Ground Forces Command.
