According to glavcom.ua: TV presenter Lydia Taran found her sister during yoga classes - it turned out they had been practicing together at a sports club for several years. The story became known thanks to Taran's account in an interview with Marytsi Padalko for the website «Glavkom».

Taran shared that she only learned about her sister's existence in adulthood when she noticed a photograph of a girl among her parents' books that looked very much like her. At first, in the family, they didn't even mention such a close relative.

«And one time after yoga, after shavasana, everyone rolls up their mats, enlightened ones leave the hall, relaxed, and a nice little woman catches up with me and says: «Lida, Lida, I know you». Well, since I was shown on television a lot - of course, many know me. She says: «I'm Maria, I'm your - or your, I don't remember - sister», – the TV star recalled.

According to the presenter, they turned out to be sisters who had been practicing yoga together for several years. Maria found the courage to speak only after she saw a magazine cover with Lydia and her daughter on it. Now they maintain a good relationship and share common interests.

«We still maintain our relationship. It turned out we have common hobbies, we started going skiing together», – she added.
