Usually, this is already enough to lower stress levels.

  1. Breathing. Any simple breathing practices will reduce stress levels and gradually prepare one for the challenging process of childbirth. Not everyone knows how to breathe correctly, and proper breathing helps combat stress the most. 
  2. Physical activity. Of course, pregnancy brings its adjustments, but a woman who is going to give birth should not refrain from activity. In this case, she can practice prenatal yoga or simply make it a habit to walk daily in the park. And as always, it is advisable to discuss any activities with her doctor. 

Psychologists also recommend minimizing even the stress that seems trivial during pregnancy. For example, watching melodramas or horror movies, abrupt lifestyle changes or drastic work changes, which inevitably lead to increased stress. 

Proper preparation for every stage of pregnancy can help minimize stress. This involves understanding what is happening in a woman's body and how it affects her life. It is important to address fears in the moment and predict further changes.
