Customs database failure: border in Lviv region temporarily not operational
Technical issues at border crossings in Lviv region
The Western Regional Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported temporary technical problems that halted the processing of individuals and vehicles in the Lviv region. According to a statement from the State Border Guard Service, this occurred due to a failure in the customs database.
Drivers and passengers are advised to be prepared for delays associated with these issues. The State Border Guard Service recommends postponing trips through the indicated points or using alternative routes.
Despite the technical issues, traffic jams of vehicles have formed:
- Exiting Ukraine: At the border crossings 'Ugryniv', 'Hrushev' and 'Shehyni', around 10 vehicles are waiting.
- Entering Ukraine: At the 'Krakiwets' point, 40 cars are standing, at 'Shehynyi' – 25 cars, and at 'Ugryniv' – 10 cars.
According to The Telegraph, since the beginning of the year, 100,000 young people aged 18-22 have left Ukraine. However, the Polish border service noted that these figures do not account for the return of individuals back to Ukraine and the number of border crossings by a single person. The spokesman for the Polish border service emphasized that over 98,500 checks of Ukrainian male citizens aged 18-22 have been conducted since the beginning of the year.
Temporary problems at the border crossings in Lviv region have arisen due to a technical failure in the customs database, resulting in traffic jams of vehicles.
