Oschadbank responded to customer complaints: what to do during outages at branches

Queue at the bank: response to criticism
Коли в отделеннях Ощадбанку виникають проблеми, важливо знати, як діяти та отримати необхідну підтримку.

Complaints from customers of the state-owned Oschadbank about technical problems at branches have appeared on social media, making it impossible to pay for utilities. One such complaint was published by user Andriy S., who encountered issues after work hours.

'We came to the branch after work, but we can't pay for utilities because the programs are down. There are about 50 people waiting at the counter, and this is not the first time,' wrote an unsatisfied customer, addressing the bank with a question about the timeline for resolving the issues.

Stadnik also emphasized the inconvenience for visitors: 'Maybe people have nothing to do but stand in your branch for half an hour after work.'

Response from Oschadbank representative

The representative of Oschadbank's head office responded to the complaint. She apologized for the situation and explained that software glitches occur 'quite rarely', and the bank is trying to minimize such cases.

'If it has already happened, then there are several options for how to proceed: you can stay and wait for the service to resume or come back a little later. There is also the option of paying through self-service terminals or online,' replied the bank's representative.

She also emphasized the advantages of remote payments: 'The bank constantly highlights the possibility of making payments, including utilities, online through the Oschad mobile app or the Oschad 24/7 web version. It is convenient, fast, and profitable, as the fees are lower than similar operations at the bank counter.'

The Oschadbank representative apologized for the technical issues at the branches and noted that the bank is trying to minimize such situations. Customers are advised to use remote payment methods, which are convenient and fast.
