According to glavcom.ua: The Zaporizhzhia NPP has come under serious threat due to shelling, which has led to numerous cases of loss of external electricity supply. Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk pointed to the risks associated with damage to the reactor cooling water supply systems. This poses a danger to the normal operation of the station and the safety of the population.
In turn, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi emphasized the instability of the situation at Ukrainian nuclear facilities and noted violations of basic nuclear safety principles at ZNPP. This creates serious threats for the entire country and could lead to severe consequences that must be avoided at all costs.
