Customs revealed violations worth 10 billion: which goods were confiscated
The State Customs Service reported the detection of numerous violations of customs regulations amounting to 10.7 billion hryvnias.
In particular, items involved in violations totaling 966 million hryvnias were temporarily seized in 2,934 cases, including industrial goods, vehicles, currency, and food products. In addition, fines totaling 52 million hryvnias were imposed in 1,777 cases, of which 51 million hryvnias have already been collected for the state budget. Furthermore, 4,613 cases amounting to over 10.3 billion hryvnias have been referred to court, and after consideration, penalties totaling 4 billion hryvnias have been imposed.
According to the report from the State Customs Service, significant violations of customs regulations amounting to 10.7 billion hryvnias have been identified, which include the seizure of goods and fines. More than half of the amount has already been collected, but hundreds of cases are still pending consideration in courts.
