The Ukrainian floorball team started on the path to the World Championship: results in Italy

On November 8-9, the men's national team of Ukraine in floorball participated in the international tournament EuroPower 2025 in Latizana, Italy. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the Sports Committee of Ukraine.

For the Ukrainian team, this tournament was an important stage in preparation for the qualification for the World Championship, which will take place in Finland in December 2026.

Results of the matches of the Ukrainian team:

• Ukraine - France 3:8 (MVP - Andriy Semeniuk)
• Ukraine - Italy 3:4 (MVP - Konstantin Shlosar)
• Ukraine - Spain 4:4 (MVP - Stepan Beshta)

The next stage for the team will be the qualification for the World Championship. The first qualifying match is scheduled for February 4 of the next year against Latvia in Liepaja.

Within the framework of the European Youth Olympic Festival, Ukraine won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, finishing 10th in the overall medal tally. This is the second most successful performance of the team at this event, after 2019 when Ukrainian athletes won 25 medals.
