Zelensky tops the distrust rating in Poland

A new sociological survey in Poland has revealed significant differences in the level of trust in world and Polish politicians. The highest support among respondents was received by President of Poland Karol Navrocki, while the highest level of distrust was recorded towards President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. This is reported by InPoland, referring to a study by United Surveys by IBRiS.

Trust rating in Poland: who received the most support

According to the survey results, 51.9% of Poles trust Karol Navrocki. At the same time, 44.8% expressed distrust towards the head of state, and another 3.3% were undecided.

The research also showed a clear political divide. Among supporters of opposition parties, 94% expressed trust in the president, while 91% of government coalition voters expressed distrust.

Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk received a lower level of support. He is trusted by 43.2% of respondents, while 50.3% expressed distrust, and 6.5% could not answer.

Distrust in Zelensky in Poland: survey results

The highest level of distrust among all politicians included in the study was recorded for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. 75.8% of respondents do not trust him. At the same time, 12.5% of respondents rated him positively, while 11.7% were undecided.

Among other international politicians, the results look as follows:

  • Donald Trump is trusted by 21.9%, not trusted by 65.1%;

  • Ursula von der Leyen is trusted by 30.9%, not trusted by 59.2%;

  • Friedrich Merz is trusted by 20%, not trusted by 61.6%;

  • Mark Rutte is trusted by 32.3%, not trusted by 38.9%.

The survey was conducted by United Surveys by IBRiS from June 26 to June 28, 2026. The study involved 1000 adult residents of Poland. Data was collected through online surveys and telephone interviews (CAWI/CATI).

It is worth noting that Polish workers are among the most loaded in the European Union. In 2025, the average duration of the working week in the country was 38 hours, significantly exceeding the EU average.
