Zelensky called the potential for drone production in 2026: 35 billion dollars

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with leaders of investment funds and business associations, discussing the increase of defense industry potential and the development of new areas of cooperation. This information was made public by the head of state on social media on October 8, 2025.

'We discussed how we can increase the capabilities of our defense industry, develop new areas of cooperation and the opening of export platforms for weapons,' said Zelensky.

Potential in drone and missile production

According to estimates, the potential for the production of drones and missiles in 2026 will amount to 35 billion dollars. The president emphasized that this is a promising direction for the development of cooperation and the defense industry of Ukraine.

Ukraine is ready to share its technologies, develop joint production and open export platforms for weapons in various countries while ensuring control and protection of Ukrainian technologies.

'Thank you to everyone who supports Ukraine, invests in Ukrainian intelligence and allows us to strengthen our capabilities together. Thank you for the meeting and the proposals that were made. We will definitely work through everything,' the president summarized.
