Zelensky deprived Trukhanov and Tsarov of citizenship: details of the decision
According to hvylya.net: President Volodymyr Zelensky held a security meeting on October 14, where fundamental decisions were made regarding the situation in frontline and border regions. The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk reported on the work to counter Russian agent networks and collaborators in these regions. According to the results of the intelligence service's work, the presence of Russian citizenship among a number of individuals has been confirmed.
'Appropriate decisions have been prepared regarding them. The decree has been signed', Zelensky wrote on social media.
Earlier, media reported that this may concern the mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov. In addition to him, Ukrainian citizenship has been revoked from former Regions Party member Oleg Tsarov and dancer Serhiy Polunin, government sources reported.
Situation in Dnipropetrovsk region
A separate item on the agenda was the discussion of the situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The President thanked the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, for effective work and defined the next tasks for him.
