According to Главком: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Cyprus for meetings with the country's leadership and to participate in the opening ceremony of Cyprus's presidency in the Council of the European Union. The visit took place on January 7, and important negotiations regarding security and migration issues are planned as part of it.

Zelensky will meet with the President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, as well as with Archbishop Georgios. In addition, there will be a joint meeting involving:
