The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the strengthening of the Armed Forces of the country with new technology thanks to the DOT-Chain Defence system. Over the last three months, the army has received a large number of drones worth a total of 3.74 billion UAH.

In addition, another 1.9 billion UAH was allocated for the purchase of drones and other military equipment through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace. Currently, 180 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already operating through this system, and another 50 brigades have joined it,' the report says.

'DOT-Chain Defence is a convenient and transparent system where units choose the necessary means themselves, while the 'Defense Procurement Agency' takes on the bureaucracy,' the Ministry of Defense explained.

At the same time, the Italian Minister of Defense announced support for her country's participation in the PURL program for arms procurement for Ukraine. Italy, which had opposed this initiative, has now revised its position due to fears of losing influence among NATO allies.

In recent months, significant funding has strengthened the technical support of the Armed Forces through the DOT-Chain Defence system, allowing units to independently choose means without falling into bureaucratic troubles from the Defense Procurement Agency. At the same time, Italy, which initially opposed participation in the PURL program for arms supplies to Ukraine, is forced to change its position due to fears of losing important influence among NATO allies.
