Petro Poroshenko accounts for 98% of his faction's 4.1 billion UAH income
Analysis of MP declarations for 2024–2025
According to Главком: A review of parliamentary income declarations for 2024 and 2025, conducted by the YouControl analytics platform, reveals major financial disparities among factions and individual lawmakers. The European Solidarity faction reported the highest total income for 2025 at 4.1 billion UAH. Notably, former president Petro Poroshenko contributed 98% of that sum, making him one of the wealthiest members of parliament. European Solidarity’s total earnings represent 68% of all income declared by sitting MPs, while Poroshenko alone accounts for over 66% of the entire parliament’s declared revenue.
Income of other parliamentary factions
Among other groups, the Servant of the People faction declared a combined income of 762.7 million UAH in 2025-a 10.5% increase from the previous year. Within that faction, 133 deputies reported higher earnings. The highest earner was Andriy Herus, who declared 95.5 million UAH, 79.3% of which came from domestic government bond redemptions. Other notable earners in the faction include Ruslan Horbenko and Zhan Beleniuk, both of whom saw their incomes rise compared to 2024.
- The Party “For the Future” deputy group declared 309.2 million UAH in 2025, a 62% drop from the prior year.
- The Dovira group reported 276.4 million UAH, marking a 16% increase year-over-year.
- Members of the Platform for Life and Peace group declared over 189 million UAH, up 18% from 2024.
- The Batkivshchyna faction declared 134.6 million UAH in 2025, a 20% rise compared to the previous year.
- Non-affiliated MPs declared 126.4 million UAH, a decrease of 7.7 million UAH from 2024.
- The Restoration of Ukraine deputy group reported 84.8 million UAH, down 35.8% from 2024, with Vadym Stolar seeing the steepest decline.
- The Holos faction declared 75.2 million UAH in 2025, a 78% increase from 2024, and saw its total cash assets grow by 12.4 million UAH.
Within Holos, Yulia Sirko recorded the highest personal income at 14.1 million UAH.
These findings highlight stark inequalities in financial standing among Ukraine’s parliamentarians, with some factions and individuals far outstripping others.
