According to ХВИЛЯ: During an interview with political analyst Yuriy Romanenko, Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Illia Shpoliansky detailed significant progress in digitization and the implementation of domestically developed battle management systems. According to Shpoliansky, Ukrainian developers have created software suites that enable commanders to rapidly share data and coordinate artillery strikes using intelligence gathered from aerial reconnaissance.

Coordination between neighboring units has improved dramatically, becoming more transparent and faster. Illia Shpoliansky noted:

“Our work has become quite professional, and I would say a certain level of professionalism is felt at the headquarters management level. The systems for battle management and situational awareness in general have been very seriously improved.” - Illia Shpoliansky

He emphasized that these new systems outperform their Russian counterparts and, in some respects, are even superior to those used by NATO. This development is part of a broader effort to modernize Ukraine's military command structure in response to the ongoing conflict. Simultaneously, the serviceman highlighted the critical importance of military-political leadership embracing these new initiatives to drive changes in command practices. “If this initiative is not utilized, we will gain nothing. But today we have a certain initiative in the air and in management,” he said.

Shpoliansky also pointed out that troop command and control has significantly increased, which helps preserve soldiers' lives. “Previously, it was just chaos; endless redeployments led to very large and heavy losses. Now everything is recorded. All these systems help us work much more effectively,” he concluded.
