Military title will be granted to 25-year-olds for summons to TSK – Ministry of Defense
According to glavcom.ua: The specified changes were approved by the resolution 'On Amendments to Certain Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Certain Issues of Military Registration and Conscription of Citizens During Mobilization'. The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that such innovations are aimed at improving the registration and conscription of citizens, taking into account the modern needs of national defense.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made changes to the procedures for military registration and conscription of citizens for military service during mobilization. In particular, now when registering for military service, individuals who have reached the age of 25 and have not served in the military will be granted the rank of 'private (sailor) reserve'. This information was disseminated by the Ministry of Defense referring to 'Glavkom'.
- Automatic military registration for women with medical education: now women with medical education will automatically be registered for military service without personal visits. This simplifies the process and ensures the relevance of data.
- Sending summons by registered mail: now summons will be sent by registered mail for confirmation of their receipt by military conscripts.
- Granting the rank of 'private (sailor) reserve' without a summons to TSK: individuals who have not served and have reached the age of 25 will be granted a military rank without an additional summons to the Temporary Military Commission.
- Formation of lists through the 'Oberih' system: to increase the efficiency of the conscription process, personal lists will be used through a digital system.
Changes in the basic combat training system
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced modifications in the basic combat training (BCT) system aimed at increasing the resilience of Ukrainian troops. The duration of the BCT course is now 51 days with an improved training program, including practical classes on various aspects of military service.
To enhance the effectiveness of military registration and conscription of citizens for military service, the Ukrainian government has made a number of changes to the procedures that will allow for automation and optimization of this process, making it more effective and convenient for citizens. Modifications have also been announced in the basic combat training system to increase the resilience of Ukrainian troops, which contributes to their more successful activities under current conditions.
