The government has allowed blocking spam calls: how to report a number
Ukrainian mobile operators have gained the ability to block numbers that make mass advertising calls without the consent of subscribers. The government adopted the resolution at the initiative of First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
The new rules allow operators to combat spam starting from October 2. Now Ukrainians can help identify and block intrusive calls. 'We are finally launching a mechanism that allows us to effectively counter intrusive calls. Thousands of spam numbers have already been blocked,' Fedorov emphasized.
Spam calls are advertising calls that are made without the consent of users for the purpose of promoting goods or services.
