How transportation will operate in Zaporizhzhia on May 28 due to the closure of the DniproHES dam
On May 28, the operation of public transport in Zaporizhzhia will be temporarily modified due to the suspension of bus and trolleybus services across the DniproHES dam. Some routes will be shortened, some trolleybuses will not operate at all, and buses will be rerouted through the Arkovy Bridge and Khortytsia. This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
A portion of trolleybus services will be temporarily suspended in Zaporizhzhia
According to city authorities, on May 28, trolleybuses will operate on modified routes.
The following routes will be available:

No. 3 - “4th Southern District - Zaporizhzhia Square”

No. 8 - “Simferopol Highway - Zaporizhzhia Square”

No. 9 - “BK ZAlK - Sedova St.”

No. 25 - “Sedova St. - Zaporizhzhia Square”
At the same time, the operation of trolleybus routes No. 1 and No. 11 will be temporarily suspended.
Trams and buses in Zaporizhzhia will also operate with changes
Trams No. 3, No. 10, No. 12, No. 15, and No. 16 will operate on standard routes.
The tram route No. 14 will be temporarily organized in the connection “Autostrada - Freedom Square”.
Buses No. 7, No. 29, No. 34a, No. 38, No. 39, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, No. 94, No. 97, and No. 98 will continue to operate in the city.
Additionally, new bus routes will be launched:

“Pishchana St. - Metallurgists Boulevard”

“Zaporizhkabel Plant - Metallurgists Boulevard”
Buses from the Borodynskyi District will go via Khortytsia
Bus routes No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72 will operate detours via the Arkovy Bridge and Khortytsia Island.
Transport will move along Vinter Boulevard, Kyiyashka Street, Academician Vesnin Street, Serhiy Synenko Street, Anton Nezola Street, and Metallurgists Avenue.
In the opposite direction, buses will operate without entering Kyiyashka Street.
The city council urges residents of Zaporizhzhia to consider the temporary changes when planning trips around the city.
Reminder, on May 26, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, at least three people were injured, including two women aged 27 and 40, and a 36-year-old man.
