How the tariffs for consular services of Ukraine in Poland changed from May 18, 2026

From May 18, 2026, the updated consular fee rates came into effect at the embassy and consular offices of Ukraine in Poland. The changes affected the processing of passports, notarial services, registration of civil status acts, and procedures related to citizenship.

This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.

How much does it cost to obtain a passport and register with the consulate

After reviewing the fees, obtaining a foreign passport for citizens aged 16 and older costs 326 zlotys or 90 US dollars. Automated data processing for obtaining a foreign passport, including for children under 16 years old, will cost 145 zlotys or 40 dollars.

A certificate for return to Ukraine costs 109 zlotys (30 dollars), and registration with the consulate costs 72 zlotys (20 dollars).

The tariffs for migration procedures have also been updated. Processing documents for permanent residence abroad now costs 724 zlotys, an immigration permit costs 1,448 zlotys, and the procedure for renouncing Ukrainian citizenship costs 1,086 zlotys.

New prices for marriage, powers of attorney, and document certification

Among notarial and registration services, state registration of marriage costs 362 zlotys, and divorce by mutual consent without minor children costs 543 zlotys.

Changing a name will cost 362 zlotys. The cost of a standard power of attorney is 109 zlotys, certifying a signature costs 72 zlotys, and copies of documents cost 36 zlotys per page.

Certification of a translation costs 145 zlotys per page.

At the same time, certain categories of citizens are exempt from paying the consular fee. These include children under 16 years old when obtaining a foreign passport, persons with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups, children with disabilities and their legal representatives, orphans, and those affected by the Chernobyl disaster of the 1st and 2nd categories.

The majority of the new tariffs apply to all consular offices of Ukraine in Poland and will take effect from May 18, 2026.
