The Army of Drones Now Pays for Logistics: How Robots Save Lives on the Frontline

Combat points for military drones
Війна безпілотників: нові технології забезпечення на лінії фронту рятують військових.

According to hvylya.net: The 'Army of Drones.Bonus' program has expanded the conditions for receiving combat points. Now, military personnel can earn electronic points not only for destroying enemy equipment and forces but also for logistical missions carried out using ground robotic complexes (GRC).

Soldiers can exchange accumulated ePoints for drones, robots for protection against electronic warfare, and other technical means. This new opportunity is designed to encourage military personnel to use unmanned systems for a wide range of tasks on the front, from delivering ammunition to evacuating the wounded.

The 13th Brigade of the National Guard 'Charter' was recognized as a leader in implementing ground robots. This brigade successfully uses GRC for assaults and evacuations, achieving 20% coverage of its needs in unmanned technology thanks to the 'Army of Drones.Bonus' program.

In the last three months, the military has placed orders worth over 5.9 billion hryvnias - more than 100,000 drones, bombers, reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, and means of protection against electronic warfare. More than 200 units have taken advantage of the program opportunity, with the largest order totaling 260 million hryvnias.

The government supported the Ministry of Defense's initiative to redistribute funds from the defense program fund to finance the 'Army of Drones Bonus' project. This program has become not only an incentive for the most effective military units but also helps save the lives of defenders by involving robots in the most dangerous situations. This approach allows tasks to be carried out without risk to military personnel and emphasizes the importance of robotics in modern military operations.

The Ukrainian army continues to actively implement new technologies and enhance the effectiveness of combat operations through unmanned systems and ground robots. The development of the 'Army of Drones.Bonus' program allows not only rewarding the best units but also increases the safety of military personnel and helps ensure the successful execution of tasks at the forefront.
