Cars in Ukraine are cheaper than in Europe: expert reveals the reasons

Ukraine has found itself in a winning position regarding prices for new cars compared to Europe. According to Oleg Nazarenko, the director general of the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers, even with customs duties and taxes, cars in our country cost less than in France or Germany.

'If you go to Paris (for example, I have been to both Renault and Peugeot showrooms), we see that there the prices for non-customs cars are higher than for the same cars in Ukraine after paying duties and taxes. The same in Berlin. If you tell the Germans how much BMWs are sold for in Ukraine, they will, to put it mildly, be very surprised. Because in Germany the prices are much higher'
