Київ запровадив можливість оформлення онлайн-виплат у розмірі 20,000 грн для власників знищеного житла за певних умов.

It has now become much simpler and more convenient to receive financial assistance for homeowners with uninhabitable housing in Kyiv. The entire procedure is possible online, without visiting the citizen service department, which is especially relevant for those who are outside the capital. A monthly assistance of 20,000 UAH is provided for a year, and during the application submission, any device can be used to upload the required documents.

The Kyiv city authorities have expanded the opportunities for receiving monthly assistance for homeowners whose housing has become uninhabitable due to the war. Now applications can be submitted online via the Kyiv Services Portal, reports the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Kyiv City State Administration.

Requirements for receiving assistance

Assistance can be received by owners or co-owners of housing in Kyiv if their housing has been destroyed or recognized as uninhabitable due to the war. The main condition is the absence of other habitable housing. For registration, electronic copies of the passport, tax identification number, proof of ownership document, written consent of all co-owners (if any), evidence of damage to the house, and the details of the social bank account are required.

Conditions and termination of payments

After submitting the application, the money is assigned immediately, and assistance can be received for up to 12 months. Each month, the owner must confirm that their housing situation has not changed and the property remains uninhabitable. Payments may be terminated if the owner receives a certificate under the 'eRecovery' program or purchases new housing.

To assist homeowners whose housing has become uninhabitable due to the war, the Kyiv city authorities have made the process of receiving financial assistance easier and more accessible. Now the possibility of receiving monthly assistance in an online format without visiting offices not only simplifies the process but also makes it more transparent and convenient for residents of the capital, even those who are outside its borders.
