According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukrainian employers are increasingly offering competitive salaries to candidates with no prior work experience. In certain sectors, entry-level incomes can reach 60,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH) or more. According to data from the job platform Work.ua, the labor market is adapting to a shortage of skilled workers, which is driving up starting wages for career beginners. This trend highlights a shift where companies are investing in training new talent.

Top-Paying Entry-Level Positions

Leading job openings for candidates without experience include:

  • Fiberglass product remover
  • Electronics sales consultant
  • Pizza maker and cashier
  • Order picker/packer
  • Massage therapist
  • Ticket sales manager

Salaries for a fiberglass product remover range from 28,000 to 67,000 UAH, while an electronics sales consultant can earn between 22,000 and 45,000 UAH. A pizza maker and cashier has a salary in the range of 30,500 to 40,000 UAH, and an order picker earns from 28,200 to 34,400 UAH. Massage therapists can expect an income starting from 30,000 UAH, and ticket sales managers receive between 25,000 and 30,000 UAH.

For context, the average monthly salary across Ukraine, as reported by the State Statistics Service for November 2025, was 27,167 UAH. The highest average earnings were recorded in Kyiv at 40,633 UAH, and in the IT and telecommunications sector, where the average reached 66,934 UAH. In contrast, the lowest salaries were observed in the education sector, at just 16,622 UAH, and in the Kirovohrad region, where the average income was 19,079 UAH.
