Without drug addicts and traitors: how convicts are selected for the 'Arthan H' unit

According to hvylya.net: The 'Arthan H' unit was created a year ago from released volunteers who decided to defend Ukraine in the challenging areas of the front. Candidates for the unit, up to 40 years old, are selected based on their desire to defend the country, physical fitness, and the absence of alcohol or drug dependence.

The majority of the personnel of the assault unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate 'Arthan H' consists of individuals who have been convicted for murder. This information was confirmed by the commander of the unit, Major Andrey Melnyk, known as 'Favorite', in an interview with ArmiyaInform.

The commander noted that the convicted fighters of 'Arthan H' perform quite well and effectively carry out combat tasks. They receive the same conditions and salary, and the merits of some fighters have even been recognized with state awards.

Among the fighters, there are different categories and experiences, but they all show high motivation and dedication to defending Ukraine. Even among the civilian population, the 'Arthan H' unit has become popular due to the effective work of its fighters.

The reconnaissance unit 'Arthan H' mainly consists of individuals with the aforementioned convictions, but this does not prevent them from effectively performing their combat tasks and receiving recognition for their work. The diversity of fighters in the unit, from their experience to their motivation, helps the 'Arthan H' team to remain effective and popular among the Ukrainian population.
