The EU will allocate 100 billion euros for Ukraine in the long-term budget
According to hvylya.net: The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced that the EU plans to allocate 100 billion euros to support Ukraine in the new long-term budget for the period from 2028 to 2034. This amount is intended to replenish the 'Ukrainian Fund', which currently stands at 50 billion euros.
We are allocating 100 billion euros for Ukraine, said von der Leyen. These amounts are slowly but surely decreasing, and therefore we propose 100 billion euros to refill the fund for Ukraine, to support recovery.
It is noted that the EU budget project for the coming years must be approved by the European Parliament and the European Council. This financial plan must receive final approval by the end of 2027. It is expected that defense spending will be one of the key elements in the future budget of the European Union for the period 2028-2034.
The European Union plans to allocate 100 billion euros for Ukraine to support from 2028 to 2034, to help the country in recovery and development. This decision is part of the EU's long-term budget, which still needs to receive final approval but already has the support of the President of the European Commission and the revision of European institutions.
