According to glavcom.ua: The Mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, expressed his support for the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, publicly thanking him for their collaboration. He emphasized the importance of openness and honesty in politics.

We just met face to face and said: 'If there are questions, they should be asked directly and everything should be discussed openly, without looking away.' In politics, this is extremely valuable. We did not have friendship. Instead, we had a normal, male, honest, and professional interaction... It was enough for us to meet once a week (or twice, so that all issues of the metropolis could be resolved without unnecessary discussions and PR)

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a decree stripping some individuals with Russian passports of Ukrainian citizenship, including the Mayor of Odesa, Hennadii Trukhanov, former MP from the Party of Regions Oleg Tsaryov, and ballet dancer Serhiy Polunin. Meanwhile, Hennadii Trukhanov himself called the president's decision a falsification, claiming he does not have Russian citizenship.

The appointment of Serhiy Lysak as the head of the Odesa city military administration caused outrage among the local population, as well as the decision to suspend the mayor of Odesa's powers after losing citizenship. In addition, the head of the KP 'Odesmiritrans', Viktor Vovk, also received a Simferopol passport, which caused outrage.

In various news situations, city leaders may express support for their colleagues, and the decisions of officials may provoke different reactions from citizens, generating outrage or support from the public.
