According to glavcom.ua: Soldier of the Third Assault Brigade, Hero of Ukraine Andriy Serhiyenko with the call sign '2.0' shared an interesting incident in Kyiv. Employees of the Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support stopped the serviceman who lost both legs at the front. The guy moves on prosthetics and barely concealed his disability. The police asked to show military registration documents, but everything became clear after he demonstrated the prosthetics.
«I said that I didn't have any documents with me. Therefore, I was invited to go to the TCC for data clarification. However, at that moment, I accidentally stepped on one of the servicemen's foot. He noticed it and reprimanded me for stepping on him. But I don't feel anything with the prosthetics. So I just said: «I'm sorry, I just don't have any legs,» explained '2.0'.
After that, the serviceman was released, and the TCC employees moved on to checking other men. Such cases show how important it is to be attentive and sensitive to people who may have special needs, even if you don't realize it at first glance.
