Bzikebi to Perform for Georgia at Eurovision 2026

According to Главком: Georgia's national broadcaster has internally selected the trio Bzikebi to represent the country at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The group will perform a song titled On Replay. Bzikebi, formed in 2008, is no stranger to international competition, having won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that same year with their song Bzzz. This selection marks a significant return to the Eurovision stage for a group that first found fame as children.

Members and Career Highlights

The members of Bzikebi are Giorgi Shiolashvili, Mariam Tatulashvili, and Mariam Kikuashvili, who were all just 10 years old when they won in 2008. The group was founded in Batumi by Giga Kukhianidze, who is also the composer of their 2026 entry On Replay and three of Georgia's four winning Junior Eurovision songs. Bzikebi has remained active in the Eurovision family, performing as an interval act at the Junior contests in Tbilisi in 2010, 2017, and 2025. They also performed a snippet of Bzzz at the 20th-anniversary celebration in Yerevan in 2022 and released the single We Don't Sleep in 2024.

At Eurovision 2026, Bzikebi will join other confirmed acts including Armenia's Simón with Paloma Rumba and Switzerland's Veronica Fusaro with Alice. Their participation underscores a remarkable artistic journey from child stars to adult competitors on the world's biggest music stage.

Bzikebi's selection for Eurovision 2026 highlights their enduring international appeal since their 2008 Junior victory. With their new song On Replay, they have the opportunity not only to represent Georgia but to showcase their creative evolution and maturity. In an era of intense competition at international music festivals, the group's success could mark a pivotal moment for their careers and for promoting Georgian music globally.
