IT Coalition to Increase Funding for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: What Technologies the Army Will Receive

The 11th meeting of the IT coalition was held in the capital of Sweden, aimed at supporting the digitization and procurement of technologies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to information from the Ministry of Defense, meeting participants agreed on ways to accelerate the procurement of technologies for the Ukrainian army and on additional funding for the digitization of the defense sector.

New Technologies for the Ukrainian Army

During the meeting, the evolution of the communication system in the army, the integration of the DELTA combat system and its significance in supporting ISTAR processes, as well as the advantages of digital combat systems in managing operations with unmanned systems were highlighted. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oksana Ferchuk stressed the importance of increasing funding for digital projects and expediting the procurement processes for faster implementation in the Armed Forces.

During the meeting, participants discussed the importance of new technologies for the Ukrainian army, the integration of systems, and ways to accelerate this process. Special attention was paid to funding digital projects that will help improve the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
