Another scandalous case shakes the capital: the head of the KCSA apparatus and the former head of the municipal enterprise are accused of trying to renovate a private building at the expense of budget funds. According to the preliminary investigation, these officials spent almost 1.3 million hryvnias on renovations, even though this building was already privately owned and no contract was in place.
Now these individuals could face punishment of up to 12 years in prison. We await the court's verdict to find out what the final epilogue of this story will be. From now on, leaders know that spending budget funds on private properties is not the best idea.
