According to glavcom.ua: On Wednesday, November 27, Donetsk 'Shakhtar' played their fourth match in the Conference League against Irish 'Shamrock'. The miners were in a comfort zone as their opponents were in second-to-last place in the tournament table.
The team from Ukraine controlled the game, created sharp chances, and quickly opened the score in the 23rd minute. In the second half, Yegor Nazarin doubled the lead, but the Irish tried to respond. They managed to score a goal, but it was not enough - 'Shakhtar' won with a score of 1:2.
The match was tough not only on the field but also due to many injuries. Despite this, 'Shakhtar' rose four positions in the tournament table, preparing for the next match against 'Hamrun'.
