Spiritual advisor to former US President Donald Trump and founder of the large Gateway church in Texas, Robert Preston Morris, has confessed to the charges of sexual assault against a minor girl. According to press reports, the Attorney General of Oklahoma stated that these events occurred in 1982 when Morris was living with the family of 12-year-old Cindy Klemishar in the town of Hominy.

Last year, Cindy spoke of the sexual abuse that lasted four years. Following this, Robert Preston Morris confessed to the charges and was dismissed from the church, admitting to having inappropriate relations with the then-minor girl.

As a result of a plea deal, Morris received a suspended sentence of 10 years with 6 months of incarceration. Additionally, he was ordered to pay all costs related to his incarceration and compensate the victim for damages. Also, according to law enforcement, a man who recently sexually abused a 7-year-old girl and forced her to shoot a pornographic film was apprehended. The police determined that the perpetrator used tricks to lure the child into his car and commit the assault.
