Ukraine has received the status of Enhanced Partnership with JEF: what does it mean
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyghal signed an agreement on 'Enhanced Partnership' with the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) during a visit to Norway. This is an important step for Ukraine, as it is the first non-member state of the JEF to receive such a status, allowing for joint production of weapons and participation in exercises to enhance cooperation with other countries.
According to hvylya.net: An agreement on cooperation with Latvia was also signed, focusing on joint production of drones and sharing experiences in cybersecurity. The acquisition of JEF partner status will allow Ukraine to interact with European countries in the defense sector and improve access to modern technologies and training even before joining NATO.
