An interesting TV series about a comrade who was moved from the city to the village for better food production has been released in North Korea. The news was published by 'Glavkom', citing Bild.

The series is called 'A New Spring on the Phekka Plains' and consists of 22 episodes. The main characters face various problems - from poor infrastructure to family quarrels. Interestingly, the characters reveal 'true feelings' for each other, not just for their Motherland and party.

The series openly depicts the everyday corruption that thrives in North Korea. Grain is stolen by officials, farmers violate norms, and people bribe power. This situation is analyzed by Professor Christopher Mande, a South Korean university scholar, who believes that showcasing such problems on television can be a way to raise viewers' awareness and inspire change.

Such a series could open new horizons for viewers and show that even in such a closed society as North Korea, there can be problems that require attention and solutions.
