A new mark VOS-999 has appeared in the 'Reserv+' application: what does it mean

According to glavcom.ua: A mark 'VOS-999. Requires basic general military training' has appeared in the electronic military accounting document of the 'Reserv+' application for some users. The Ministry of Defense explained what this means, reports 'Glavkom'.

The press service notes that VOS-999 is a military accounting specialty assigned to conscripts who have not served or participated in training camps. This norm is defined in the Ministry of Defense order No. 317 based on Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Military Duty and Military Service'.

The agency emphasized that this allows the state to assess the number of conscripts who need to undergo a course of basic general military training in the event of a call to military service during mobilization or a special period. At the same time, such military accounting specialty is not a basis for fines or other restrictions.

The specified norm in the military accounting documents allows the state to determine and prepare the necessary number of people in case of mobilization for undergoing general military training without infringing on their rights and freedoms during this period.
